Export library to Papers

Hi there,

My research supervisor uses Papers, and I would like to export one of my Zotero libraries to her so that she can import it to Papers. Is there a simple way to do this, and is it possible to include pdfs in the transfer?

Thank you,
Anelyse
  • I don't own Papers, but I think currently your options are either RIS or BibTeX export. I'm not sure if Papers supports file attachments in either of these formats, but Zotero does have the option of exporting both RIS and BibTeX files with file attachments. I think RIS might be able to transfer more metadata than BibTeX, but that also depends on Papers ability to import it.

We will be introducing Endnote XML format shortly, which may have better support in Papers.
  • The folks at Papers would know this better, but I think bibtex is likely the best export format (right click on the collection you want to export --> Export Collection --> Bibtex). You can select to have files included, though you'd have to test whether papers is able to import them.
