Report ID: 784222767 PMID add Identifier error
My Firefox Zotero (browser embedded) does not acquire PMIDs. My standalone zotero with both firefox and safari does not acquire PMIDs
Report ID: 784222767
Computer/Software Specifications:
MacOSx 10.6.8
Firefox 17.0.1
Zotero 3.0.11
Safari 5.1.7
Repeatable problem: Zotero (standalone and firefox apps) have ceased importing references from PMIDs when clicking "Add Item by Identifier"
"Enter ISBN, DOI, or PMID to look up in box below."
I entered "23241667"
Pop-up:
"Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again."
"Enter ISBN, DOI, or PMID to look up in box below."
I entered "23151629"
Pop-up:
"Zotero could not find a record for the specified identifier. Please verify the identifier and try again."
I can enter DOIs and ISBNs. Unfortunatley - I only need PMIDs.
It DOES work with this DOI "10.1016/j.aap.2010.08.005"
It DOES work with ISBN "9789264047907"
It seems the problem is specifically with PMIDs. The Zotero application worked fine the first day, but it does not work today.
I have restarted everything numerous times.
Also - the Zotero icon in the safari browser is inactive. The pubmed links already imported into my library yesterday (when zotero was working) are functional (ie. if I click on the pubmed link, the correct pubmed abstract appears).
