Database upgrade error

Both zotero standalone and firefox will not open. Error message received is "Database upgrade error". Debug ID is D1307082510. System is windows 7.
Any help appreciated. Thanks. Micah

    Your database is read-only. Check the permissions of your Zotero data directory. If you're running security software, try disabling it.

    Changing the permissions worked thanks! I don´t know why this problem occurred as I hadn´t touched the permissions to the database.
