we need more details on what "broken" means, including what you're seeing exactly, when, and specific error messages you receive, if any.

Got the same error msg:

If that doesn't help, I'd create a new Firefox profile and move your Zotero data directory to that. Assuming that works better, you can move your other old Firefox data over (though I'd do it piece by piece to make sure you don't copy whatever's broken).

I booted in safe mode and still no success. I am wondering if I should completely delete FF and do a clean reinstall of FF.

Select ▹ System Preferences ▹ Language & Text ▹ Format ▹ Region: your country. Then try the Date & Time preference pane again.
