Unable to save pdf snapshots from Zotero standalone in Chrome

I have just installed Zotero standalone. Although I have had no problem saving snapshots by right-clicking on most pages, I am not able to do so for pdfs that I open in the Chrome browser (i.e. there is no "Save Zotero snapshot from current page" option). Is there any way to address this issue?

    There currently is no good one-step solution. Saving the file and dragging to standalone works. I believe you might be able to drag the URL from Chrome to standalone, too, but haven't tried that for a while.

    I believe something smoother is planned eventually. Obviously, generally the goal is to have you don't have you save many PDFs directly but rather have them automatically attached via translators.

    Belated thanks for your help, Adam. In the absence of a one-step solution, dragging the URL turned out to be a very useful option.
