national symbols/letters

I dont know what happened but when I try to enter new reference I cant use my national letter symbols. It happened few minutes ago. Keyboard settings are ok (i still can use it normally in word document). I restarted system but it didnt help. Help me.

    Pls... Somehow my national signs were unblocked and I could again use them, but then somehow I couldn't write it again. Plssss help me. What I mean is i can't put in Zotero letters like "ń,ś,ź,ż,ó,ł,ę,ą" ://///

    3.0.11.1 version, i dont use firefox plugin (i installed it), but I dont know what's about it till today, win7; i have problems with this database on my disk (zotero standalone)- i have never used ff for zotero (dont know even how to use it)

    Can you copy them into Zotero? Generally this isn't a Zotero issue. It may be worth trying to disable all other FIrefox plugins and trying again if you're using Firefox.

    I can copy, but this is so annoying coz sometimes I can normally write them in zotero and suddenly i cant for whole day and then again i can for few minutes and then again i cant... :-S ok i will try to disable plugins

    When you enter the decorated characters in other programs do they always display correctly? What is the Windows system language setting?

    I assume that your keyboard has the characters built-in and that you are not using special key combinations with an English language keyboard to enter decorated characters. Am I correct?

    The suggestion that you copy and paste the characters was intended to be a test -- not a means to enter the characters within your normal work.
