A couple of comments for improvements to the NASA NTRS translator:
-The abstract does not come through
-The Item Type for conference paper is being mistakenly selected as journal article. A related issue is that conference name and place are not being populated.

There is actually no dedicated NASA NTRS translator (see #6 here), which is why the metadata is not of best quality. Someone would have to write a translators for that website to make the improvements you suggest. Otherwise, the developers maintaining translators will probably get to it at some point in the future.
