Bibliography in the middle of the document

Hello,
I accidentally hit add bibliography rather than add citation, now i have the bibliography in the middle of my document.

I tried deleting it from the end to the top and that worked, but then it popped right back in.

help?

    You didn't delete it completely, then. If this is Word, it should be highlighted in gray. Make sure you delete it all.

    Yes, it is word, yes it was highlighted in gray and yes, I didn't really delete it because it came back. The problem is that I don't really know how to delete it all.

    Hitting the delete key doesn't work. Hitting alt + F9 won't work, I don' have that keyboard, so I still don't know what to do. I can delete it temporarily by putting the cursor at the end of the bibliography and hitting delete, but that doesn't solve the problem long term.

    Ideas, suggestions, help?

    I don't understand - if you're on a Mac that should be opt+F9 I believe.

    Try to select the entire bibliography - including one line before and one line after it - and delete it. Being able to make the fields visible using alt+F9 or the mac equivalent would be helpful but not necessary.

    (On some Mac keyboards, you might have to press Fn + Option + F9 to make fields visible.)
