APA referencing superscripted

When I change my reference style to APA the citations are superscripted (when they shouldn't be) and some include initials....Any assistance would be greatly appreciated - don't want to have to change this manually if at all possible. Thanks
  • Superscript: That probably happened as you switched from a superscripted style, it's a bug - likely a Word bug - that occasionally occurs, it's a nuisance but typically easy to fix. Switch to a footnote style - e.g. Chicago Manual (Full Note) and then to APA and that should do it.

    Initials:

  • Thanks Adam. This worked well - I had to use Chicago (name-date) but it sorted the problem. Much appreciate your assistance.
