Incorrect Citation Style: Annals of the Association of American Geographers

According to the Annals style guide, any citation of more than 3 authors should include parenthetically the first author's last name, followed by et al. and year. The Zotero I am using (v 3) puts 4 authors in my parenthetical citation.

    Agreed, big thanks! For any newbies like me, this might not have been necessary but to get the update I did: Gear icon --> Preferences --> Cite --> Styles --> Get additional styles..., then clicked on 'Geography', and saw that the AAG style had been updated in early April, clicked to install it, and it asked me if I wanted to overwrite my existing style, said yes. I restarted Firefox, and then in Word clicked the refresh Zotero icon. Boom. All set.

    I have the latest update for the Annals of the AAG style (9/28/12), but it is still including three first authors' names in the parenthetical citation.

    nthetically cited every time using all author names;
    sources with more than three authors should be parent
    hetically cited every time using the first author name
    and “et al.”
    three authors are correct. four would be wrong.

    Thanks; I overlooked that. Now, how do I go about changing the lack of indentation for multi-line bibliographical references?

    should those be indented? In the style guide they are not.

    Well, the style guides for both the Annals and the Professional Geographer don't show indentations, but recent articles published there have indentations.

    It's easy enough to do either in the style - I'd assume the journal doesn't care as they'll do their own formatting anyway - you could ask the editors what they prefer and I'm happy to adjust the style if needed.

    I'd prefer to have the option to change indentations regardless of the editors' preferences - it increases readability during the preparation of the manuscript. If it's a straightforward change to the CSL file, would you please tell how to do it?

    two options:
    1. use the visual editor, http://steveridout.com/csl/visualEditor/ load the AAAG style, then click on "Bibliography" on the left and set "hanging-indent" (bottom of the main panel) to true.

    2. Don't use the editor and edit the style directly. General directions are here

    specifically, add
    hanging-indent="true" to the line starting with <bibliography
