Syncing with large database and multiple users

Hi,

I consider moving to a paid storage plan with zotero, but before I have one important question. Perhaps someone has any experience with a similar setting?

I’m using Zotero for some time now and I’m looking for a way to sync my data with one other computer (about 6 GB total data including PDF attachments, SQL-Database: about 250 mb). I'd like to use this one database on both computers collaborating with a colleague.

So, my question is: Will there be a problem working simultaneously on both computers in regard to the syncing with this size of SQL-Database? I. e. will there be much of a delay between data syncing when working together? Or problems when doing edits in the same data record?
(Sync will include PDF attachments)

Anyone any experience with this?

The file size doesn't tell us much. How many items are in your library, including child items?

Thats's 9500 items including child items.

That's sizable, but it should be fine.

But note that you can and should test full data syncing before you purchase storage. Just uncheck file syncing in the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences.
