OpenOffice Integration Extension Dialog from Hell

Every time I start the standalone version of Zotero a dialog pops up asking if I want to install the OpenOffice/NeoOffice/LibreOffice extension. I click "cancel" and it asks if I'm sure. I click "Ok" and it just takes me back to the previous. If I click "Next" it tells me I need to install Java Runtime (which I removed and don't want to reinstall). I click "Cancel" and go through the same endless loop. There's no way to get rid of the window other than using the Windows task manager. Is there anything to do other than continue swearing at Zotero?

You can de-install the word processor plugin under Tools-->Add-ons in Zotero Standalone.

(That said, there should probably be some type of "don't ask again" or "de-install" option in that dialog - you're not the first person with that problem).
  • Thank you so much for saving my day. I probably should have been able to figure that out, but it caused so much rage that it shut down my ability for rational thought. Even making the dialog work correctly (OK means shut the dialog down rather than loop endlessly) would be an improvement.

    Thanks again.
