Accessing Zotero library after reinstallation
I had a problem with Firefox one week ago, and had to reset it in order to recover all my bookmarks and history. After I did this, Zotero no longer showed as an add-on and I could not access my Zotero library from within Firefox, although all my data (including annotated PDFs) was still saved in my Library/Application Support/Firefox/Profiles folder.
I just installed Zotero Standalone in the hope that I could transfer my old library to it. (Previously, I had Zotero for Firefox, installed in 2011). But I now can't work out how to link up my previous library with the new version. I don't want to sync from the server, because the server does not have my PDFs.
Do you have any advice for how I can access my old library? Thank you!

dstillmanZotero Standalone should have offered to use the Zotero for Firefox data directory when you first started it up, but if you have multiple Firefox profiles that might not have happened. You can manually point Standalone to the Zotero for Firefox data directory in the Advanced pane of the Zotero preferences. You can also just move the Zotero for Firefox data directory to the place Zotero Standalone is looking (perhaps after switching Zotero Standalone to use its default location if that's not the case now).
