Re-instating Field Codes

I went to remove the field code from one citation that I needed to edit differently than it was appearing. Since I was within the single citation, I thought I was removing the field code just for it. Then I saved and shut down my doc. Upon reopening it I realised it removed the field code from everyone one of my citation. I'm now not going to be able to generate a bibliography from my paper! Is there any way to reinstate the code?

    sorry, there is absolutely no way to do that on Zotero's side. The warning says " this will prevent Zotero from updating citations or bibliographies in this document".
    You may be able to find a backed up version of your word doc, that would obviously help.

    For future reference, you don't need to remove field codes to edit a reference - you can just edit it.
