How to discover the library location of an article?

Dear all,

How do I discover the library location of an article that I have just located using the search feature? Say, for example, I have an article titled "article 1" buried deep within my library hierarchy and I want to know where it is in my library. I do a search for "article 1" and it pops up in the search results, however there appears to be no way to discover where it actually is. Any way to discover it's library location, similar to the very handy "Open File Location" feature in Windows File Explorer?

Sincerely,

Ben
  • You mean like right click the file, then click Show File? (Or the green "locate" arrow next to the search box)?

Or do you mean something else?
  • No, none of those features do what I'm asking. I'm trying to find the location of an article in my library, i.e. my collection (the panel to the left in stand alone).
  • Oh...this?
To see all the collections an item is in, select the item and then hold down the Option (OS X), Control (Windows) or Alt key (Linux). This highlights all the collections that contain the item.
  • That's it!! Thank you!
