Upgrade Storagereplacing punctuation in publisher-place

I am writing a new csl style and would like to change a ; separating two publisher-place entries e.g london;new york with and. To end up with london and new york.
I this possible within csl directly or would I have to write some js to search and replace the ; with and somehow.

GracileZotero does not support multiple publishers at the moment. Of course, you can enter more than one in the "publisher" field but it will be treated as plain text and there won't be a way to replace ";" by "and". You need to edit your zotero database manually (in the next major version, batch editing will be possible, but probably not for this kind of case)

"publisher-place" is a single field variable, and its content isn't parsed. The easiest way to get this right would be to include the semicolon in your Zotero library item metadata.
