Importing email from Mac Mail

How do I import the whole email from Mac Mail. I try to select and then drag and drop, but it doesn't work?

    probably not possible - whether you can drag&drop from a program depends on what happens with the clipboard and in most cases only dragging from the Finder (or the equivalent on other OS's) will work.

    Thanks. So how about adding the most used e-mail client formats for inclusion in importing emails. There is an e-mail pulldown menu item in Zotero, so why not?

    just to be clear - that would still not support drag&drop (no Zotero translator does - drag&drop imports files).

    But for regular import, there is absolutely no theoretical reason not to include e-mail formats, but it's a relatively rare use case and writing import translators is a large amount of work.

    With a "Zotero_pdf" printer as OneNote one would be more than enough. It gives a lot of flexibility. CAn it be possible to develop?
