Encyclopedia Article in footnote - Chicago Full Note footnotes

When I create a footnote citation for an encyclopedia article in the Chicago Full Note format, it will not display either the page numbers or the volume numbers. Any suggestions for someone who is not hugely literate in these matters?

    You probably don't want to cite whatever it is you're citing as an encyclopedia article, but rather as a book section (for bibliographic purposes, scholarly encyclopedias are books). CMoS doesn't ask for page/volume numbers for regular encyclopedia entries (think Encyclopedia Britannica etc.).
