Sync arrow spinning for 7 days still not complete

My sync arrow has been going for 7 days and zero progress has been made on syncing. What is going on here?
  • Restart Firefox/Zotero.
  • I assume I should back up Zotero first, but when I do, some of the folders do not save with the most recent date. For example, the storage folder says 8/15 but when I save it to my external, it says 8/7
  • I don't really know what you mean. We can't help you with your own backup system (though, for what it's worth, you should just have an automated backup of your entire hard drive, Zotero data included). Restarting Zotero isn't going to jeopardize your data, though.
