my documents are missing from Zotero

After a new hard drive was installed on my computer, I discovered that my documents saved to Zotero had not been transferred to the new drive. I continued working in Zotero, adding new folders and docuements. Then the tech office copied and downloaded successfully my "old" (or original) folders and documents to Zotero. But now my new folders and documents are gone from Zotero. How can I retrieve them?

    Which operating system? Were you using the default location for Zotero storage? Did the tech office replace files in the new installation? Did they backup the newer storage first?

    The default storage location is within your firefox profile. You might try to use the profile manager to see if your "new" (lost) profile is still present.
