Hiding Collections in Public, Closed Membership Group

In the documentation page for Zotero groups it says that for a Public, Closed Membership group:

"If the group has a public library, administrators can choose to show or hide the entire library or individual collections from non-members."

I am setting up one of these types of groups, and I would like to set up a public library with some public group collections and some collections that can only be viewed by group members. The problem is that I cannot seem to find a setting which allows me to show/hide collections. How does one go about hiding a collection?
  • That's a mistake in the documentation. There's no way to hide individual collections.
  • Given how easy it is to create groups, a workaround would be to create another public group. That, too, however, is not the best solution until more fine-grained settings for groups and user roles are in place.
  • Thanks for clearing that up. I would like to avoid starting another group library, but I guess I'll have to resort to that if it is the only thing that works for my group.

Yes, more fine-grained controls would be a nice addition as I may want to display items that my group has published, but not necessarily all of the publications that we are researching. I like many of Mark's suggestions about improvements - it would be nice to see some of them implemented.
