WebDAV

Hi,
I set up the WebDAV sync of the attachments but the storage space in the zotero web site seems unchanged. I mean it seems the attachments are also on the zotero servers, not only on the WebDAV server. Is this normal? What happens if I try to put more than 100MB on WebDAV server? Will the zotero storage space get full also?

    Zotero doesn't (can't) know how much space you have on your WebDAV - the storage display on zotero.org only refers to Zotero file storage.
    If you sync files to a webDAV, they're not synced to Zotero storage - if you see the storage on Zotero filling up while using WebDAV, your settings (under Zotero preferences --> sync in the Zotero client) may be wrong.

    I think the settings are fine because I saw stuff appearing in the webDAV but the problem is that I think the files are sync'd to Zotero too. I want to put the pdfs only in webDAV but to be able to read the abstracts using the Zotero web page. Is this possible? What should I change in the settings? Now I have everything checked in the Preference-Sync page and the webDAV is OK if I try to verify it.

    file sync is either or - you're definitely not syncing to both.

    If you have files in groups those can only be synced using Zotero storage (and will be if you have that option checked).
