Upgrade StorageMetadata autofill for an existing collection of scientific articles PDFs?
Hi,
I'm interested in using Zotero to manage my scientific references so I can easily find/cite journal articles. However, I already have a collection of several hundred articles as PDF files on my computer that I'd like to import into Zotero, in addition to downloading new articles as the site suggests. This is easy to do with the drag-and-drop functionality, but none of the metadata for the articles is found/transferred. Eg., Zotero has a copy of the papers that I want to cite, but from what I can tell I would need to manually input all the citation information if I wanted to use Zotero to create a bibliography. Does Zotero have a feature that I'm not aware of for "autofilling" metadata, or does this really have to be done by hand for each article?
