zotero phone app to uplad directly in to zotero bib

Is there a Zotero app of the likes of Easybib or Quickcite that we could use to both (1) catch the details from the book barcode, and (2) upload these directly into Zotero rather than emailing it?

  • iOS:
    Bibup: http://elearning.unifr.ch/bibup/tuto/index.php
(this doesn't upload directly to Zotero but uses an intermediary website, but no e-mailing involved)

    Also relevant of iOS:
the Zotero bookmarklet works on iOS:

the ZotPad app (which doesn't scan, but does a lot of other stuff):
    http://itunes.apple.com/us/app/zotpad/id497260579

    Android:
    Scanner for Zotero:
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=org.ale.scanner.zotero&hl=en
    Zandy (includes other functionality):
    https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.gimranov.zandy.app
  • You can use Google's iOS app for scanning. Then open the resulting Google Book page in Safari and then use the bookmarklet. Takes about 2-5 seconds to do this after you have set the bookmarklet up.

ZotPad will eventually support scanning, but this is not high priority because the bookmarklet based solution works well already.
