Reset Firefox, is my zotero library lost?

Hi,

I was having problems with Firefox so I reset the program. All my bookmarks, cookies, passwords, etc. were restored, but I don't see the zotero add-on. Do I have to download it again? and if so, does it mean that my library is lost? (oh no!)

What does "reset the program" mean? What steps did you take?

I mean that I reset Firefox to its default state - Firefox recommends you do this when the browser is not working properly. As indicated in the Firefox website, I went to the Help menu, then clicked on "troubleshooting information" and there I clicked "reset firefox."

As explained here, http://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/reset-firefox-easily-fix-most-problems, resetting Firefox will create a fresh Firefox profile. You will need to reinstall Zotero, and move the Zotero data directory from the old profile to the new one. See http://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data

Before you try this, it's a very good idea to first back up all your Firefox profiles.
