Original Publication Date
How could I mention the original publication date? For example, suppose that I want to refer to (Smith, 1776), but obviously I don't have access to the original publication! So I use a reprinted version of it (Smith, 2010). According to APA, in text citation in this situation should be like this: (Smith, 1776/2010). And in the end:
Smith, A. (2010) ... (originally published in 1776)
How could I do that?
I couldn't find the solution in discussions? Can you help me?
