Downloading pdf later on at office

I use the same laptop with zotero at my institute as well as my home. However, I have access to journals through my institute, but not at home. Therefore, zotero automatically downloads the pdfs in the former case, but not in the latter. This means that I am forced to download the pdfs of the references browsed at home all over again, when I log into my institute network.

Is there some way by which Zotero can automatically scan my library every time I log in through my institute, and download the pdfs for which my institute has access? My apologies if anyone has asked this question before, I could not locate it in the forum discussions.

    This is not possible, but I believe this has been requested a few times. I do not know if it is a planned feature, though.

    It is possible that you can log into your instition library from home and through that proxy you can gain access to most of what you have when in the institution's system.

    Talk to a reference librarian about remote access.
