Action not supported (OpenOffice plugin)

The open office plugin (just installed) appears to work at first, but after writing some text and inserting some citations, it no longer cooperates. No matter what I do, I always get an error message saying 'Action not supported - Invalid procedure call' and a macro editor pops up (at line 1193, if this matters). The same thing happens with open office 2.3 under linux and with office 2.4 under vista.
The must be something in the text that causes this problem, but it is very hard to track. I tried to delete pieces of the text and at one point the error disappears. However, this behavior is not very well reproducible. Any idea what is going on?
  • Yes, I'm having exactly the same problem. I have Vista and office 2.3. I've tried un and reinstalling the zotero file. I've had this working just fine for around 3 months.

I wouldn't mind an answer to this one either.
  • As far as I can tell, it only occurs when I cut and paste something from another document that also has citations in it. Is this happening to you as well suicyte?
  • No, not as far as I remember. For the time being, I have stopped using Zotero for this purpose. Maybe I will check back later.
  • I'm currently enjoying this problem as well. It doesn't appear to be any particular citation, so the "Debugging Broken Documents" approach doesn't work - for instance, pasting sections of Introduction (when Zotero was working fine) into a blank document following the error message (which started later in the document) causes the same error message in the new document.

Any help would be much appreciated.
  • I'm getting the same thing njc. From the first citation in a document.
    Answers appreciated.
