Copy a whole folder from My Library to a Group folder in Group Libraries?

I would like to copy a lot of folders from My Library to my group's folder in Group Libraries and I cannot find out how to do it, so thanks in advance for any help on this.

Btw, I have no problem creating a new folder in Group Libraries and copying the Items into it, but I have a lot to duplicate and figure there must be an easier way.

    Just drag the collection(s) to the other library. You need to be using an up-to-date version of Zotero.

    Thanks for the reply Dan, but I guess you don't understand.

    I want to copy all of the folders in My Library to the group folder in Group Libraries so they can all be shared with the group.

    It is possible to drag one folder down to the group folder, but I can't select more than one.

    What I would REALLY like to do is be able to make all of My Library available to the group, or at least sync it to the group folder so it is available.

    If there is a way to do that, it would be great.

    How is that my not understanding you? Wasn't your request—in fact, the title of your post—to copy an entire collection ("folder") to a group library? That's what I told you how to do.

    And you can copy an entire hierarchy of collections, just not from the library root.

    There is no way to drag multiple, non-nested collections at once in Zotero in general - that's unrelated to groups.

    It's not possible to keep two libraries in sync automatically, but it may be possible to do something like that in the future.

    Ok, guess I wasn't clear with the title then.

    Since I wasn't able to drag more than one folder at a time, I tried creating a subfolder and put the folders into that, so I could drag it down, but I guess that doesn't work.

    To explain, I have My Library then folders with animals names, beaver, musk ok, etc.

    I created My Library/Animals/ and put several animal folders in that, but the Animals folder won't drag into the Group Libraries/Animalgroup/ folder.

    I just want everyone in the group to be able to see my library--I don't need two libraries--is it possible to just sync all of My Library to the group?

    Or do I have to just start doing everything within the Group Libraries/Animalgroup/ folder so they will have access to all of my library?

    The collection won't drag if it already exists in the group library (even if you've since renamed it). You can absolutely drag an entire hierarchy of collections to a group where they don't already exist, though.

    OK, thanks for the help. I just tried working within the Group Libraries instead of My Library and that works--just what I needed.

    Might be a good tip for other noobs:

    "If you want your group to see all your research and notes, do everything within Group Libraries instead of My Library."

    Hello,

    I am new to zotero, I have a problem in sharing my library collections to group library. Can anyone help me with this please? Am not a group admin but am a member of a group. I wanted to share my library items to all the group members. I can see the group libraries in my zotero but I cannot create a new collection in the group library and copy the collections from my library to the group library.
