invalid XML tag syntax
Hello,
I am working collaboratively on a document in Word (PC) first saved as .docx and I received back with comments saved as .doc Now when I try to add new citations I get "invalid XML tag syntax". What should I do?
Thanks a lot in advance for your help.

Simonedited July 8, 2012Depending on what the person writing the comments used to edit the document, you may be able to copy and paste the contents of the document to a new one and add new citations there. If that doesn't work, you're probably out of luck. (This should never happen if your collaborators use Word, but LibreOffice and other word processing applications don't preserve Word fields.)
