When I open Mozilla Firefox a window pops-up saying:
"Zotero OpenOffice.org/NeoOffice/LibreOffice Integration makes it easier to insert citations and biobliographies into these popular word processors. This wizard will install Zotero OpenOffice.org/NeoOffice/LibreOffice Integration for all applicable word processors on this computer. The extension can be reinstalled later from the cite pane in the Zotero preferences."
Then I click on "suivant" ("Next" in my language = french)and the Window tells me: "select an OpenOffice.org/NeoOffice/LibreOffice installations from the list below or click "Add Installation" to locate the path to an OpenOffice.org installation not shown on the list." In my case this path is already ticked "C:\ProgramFiles(x86)\OpenOffice.org3\program\unopkg.exe" so I click on next (sorry but I'm not a geek I never go through manual whatsoever installation)then a new window pops-up saying: "Installation could not be completed because an error occurred. Please ensure OpenOffice.org is closed, and then restart Firefox." The thing is OpenOffice.org is closed.
Have fun with this troubleshooting guys ;)
  • Try uninstalling OpenOffice.org and installing LibreOffice instead. OpenOffice.org has some trouble with newer versions of Java, and most of the developers have moved to LibreOffice.
  • Such an easy troubleshooting ! Perfect ! Thanks a lot :))
