Upgrade Storage[solved - use same data dirs] Firefox plugin won't see standalone
I've been using Zotero standalone, now I installed Zotero 3.0.7 in Firefox. Unlike what the docs say, Zotero the Firefox plugin won't act as a connector and is completely unaware of Zotero standalone--it shows a new blank library. I'm afraid of logging in in the Firefox plugin not to cause any sync issues. Any suggestions on fixing/debugging the issue would be appreciated.
Maybe this bit will help: When I installed the Firefox plugin, the standalone was in an earlier version. Later the standalone updated itself and now they are both 3.0.7 but they don't see each other. I reinstalled the Firefox plugin but it didn't help.

SimonYou need to set both Zotero for Firefox and Zotero Standalone to use the same data directory. You can see the data directory by clicking the "Show Data Directory" button in the advanced pane of the Zotero preferences. Based on what you say here, both are probably set to use the profile directory. Instead, you probably want to keep Zotero Standalone set to use its profile directory and direct Zotero for Firefox to use that directory as well.
