Import zotero references from word plug-in?

Hi all. Recently my mac hard-drive crashed and I did not have a recent Zotero backup. I did, however, have a large word document with embedded zotero refs in it. Is there any way to export the references from that document back into my zotero library? I see that the full reference is there when I go to the plugin, but I don't see them in my web browser zotero.
