A few things:

the profile photo should allow loading via URI

the profile "about you" section should probably include TinyMCE

I should be able to login with OpenID

We temporarily disabled OpenID at the last minute to work out some kinks, but we hope to have it back by the end of this week.

TinyMCE for the "about you" field is not a bad idea. We're already seeing people try to put in HTML.

Loading a picture from a URI is a good idea too.

you should have the option to login with OpenID - Zotero doesn't provide you with a facility to set it up, though, you can just use an existing one. (If you log out at the top of this page and then click login, you'll see the OpenID field to the right of the ZOtero login options).

Thanks. My Google OpenId that works at every other site doesn't work here. Do you know if this site works with Google and, if so, what format the OpenID needs to be in?

I'm able to log in with an ID in this form:

http://openid-provider.appspot.com/[my_account_name]

Where [my_account_name] is my account name on Google used to cut an OpenID from here:

http://openid-provider.appspot.com/

I don't use this much, and I'm not sure if that's the provider generally used for Google OpenID, but that's the format that works for me.
