Quick Copy pastes code

My operating system is a flavour of Linux, Ubuntu 10.04. I added a book to Zotero 3.0.7 in Firefox 13.0 and tried to Quick Copy it to a document in LibreOffice Writer 3.5.3.2 for which I have Zotero LibreOffice Integration 3.5.2. I tried to Quick Copy by dragging and by dragging while pressing the shift key and by dragging while pressing Ctrl+Shift. The text pasted is given below. I reported a bug from Zotero in Firefox and the Report ID is 42598538 Though I couldn't tell whether it related to my main problem.

    http://www.zotero.org/support/creating_bibliographies make sure your quick copy preferences are configured correctly. If that doesn't help, tell us what the preferences are set to and we'll see if it's a bug and how to fix it.

    I actually believe this has always been broken for quick copy to LO in linux, due to a quirk in Open/Libre Office.

    It seems to go wrong when I shift and drag twice in a Firefox session. I re-started and dragged without pressing any keys and code appeared in my LibreOffice Writer document again.

    I looked at the page you recommended (actually I did this before I made the post, but I looked at it again). Everything seems alright. If you'd like to check, the settings (I tried a few different formats) are: -
    Default Output Format: Harvard Reference format 1 (Author-Date)
    [Unchecked] Copy as HTML
    Site Specific Settings: [blank table]
    Disable Quick Copy when dragging more than 50 items
    Character Encoding
    [Unchecked] Display character encoding option on export
    Import Character Encoding: (auto detect)

    IIRC this works fine if you use copy and paste (see shortcuts in the Zotero preferences) instead of drag and drop.
