names with Junior
Hi there,
how should I code the names with a 'Junior' in Zotero to get a 'Jr' in the appropriate place when I cite them?
For instance, to cite the article at this link
http://www.jstor.org/stable/10.2307/2436259
I would like in the text:
(Avery, 1933)
This is OK now since the last name is coded as 'Avery' and the first name as 'George S. Jr.'.
And in the bibliography section:
Avery GS Jr, 1933. Structure and development of the tobacco leaf. American Journal of Botany 20: 565–591.
instead of
Avery GSJ, 1933. Structure and development of the tobacco leaf. American Journal of Botany 20: 565–591.
Thanks
Florent

family: Avery
given: George S., Jr.

George S. Avery Jr. - if you input it like fbennett advises above, that will work correctly for style that have names in normal order.
But otherwise no - the Jr. refers to the first name (there are two George Avery's, he's the younger one of the Georges), that's why it gets placed with it in sorted lists.
