new citation on word for mac 2011

hello,
I made my thesis with word 2011 for mac without any problems.
I used Zotero style vancouver with brackets, and edited the bibliography at the end, No problem again.
Now i have to make corrections and when i try to add a new citation on my document, it just shows {Citation} and not the number, and the reference is not valid. However, the very first citation had changes into the one i wanted to add elsewhere ! I m not sure to be very clear, but i cannot add a new citation at all. it just changes the first one.
it's driving me nuts....
any ideas? thank you so much
  • If you can send the document to support@zotero.org, we'll take a look. Alternatively, you can try following these steps.
  • i just sender my file to you
thank you so much for your help

Can you ensure that you have Zotero 3.0.7? The metadata for that document says it was created with an older version of Zotero.

If you haven't tried, it might also help to switch from bookmarks to fields. Bookmarks are generally inferior to fields unless you need LibreOffice compatibility.
  • hello.
I reinstalled Zotero to be sure to have the latest version. When i opened my document, i realized that all the zotero code where not in order anymore. and now when i try to refresh, or add a new citation, i have this error message telling me that the file as been corrupted? I really don't get what is going on, and it is such a waist of time now. What can do? i send you the file again. Thanks

Try installing the MacWord Integration Trunk XPI and see if that fixes things. You should make sure to manually install the next release of Word for Mac Integration, which should be available later this week.

If you are using Zotero Standalone, you can download the add-on and install it by selecting Tools->Add-ons and choosing "Install Add-on From File..." from the gear menu, but you should make certain to uninstall it the next time Zotero Standalone is updated.
