Zotero plug-in crashing in Libre Office (Report ID 548966312)

Hi, as requested by the Zotero Error Report feature, I am posting a message with my error Report ID (548966312).

I have Zotero installed OK and I can see and use the toolbar in LibreOffice. However after a few citation inserts I get an error, after which the toolbar and Zotero features stop working. If I close the Zotero (standalone) window, I find the application doesn't close properly as there is still a process surviving (visible with ps or top). Killing this process and restarting Zotero works.

Xubuntu 12.04
Zotero standalone version 3.0.7
LibreOffice 3.5.3.2

    I have tried reinstalling the plug-in.
    I have installed libreoffice-java-common.

    Just goes to show... I thought I'd checked all the support pages on this, but I didn't pay enough attention. I saw the bit about the RTF bug and I thought "that doesn't apply to me" as I wasn't doing anything with RTFs. But I missed the bit about unchecking the experimental features box...

    I've done that and it all seems to be stable now :-/

    easy to overlook - a major reason for these pages are to prevent us from having to write the same thing over and over again.
