importing files does not work
Something as simple as importing a reference with a file attached does not work anymore. I can't tell you exactly when it stopped working, but it was working until recently.
Reproduce:
1. right-click on any reference that has a file attached
2. click "Export selected item ..."
3. choose Format = Zotero RDF
4. make sure "Export files" is enabled
5. choose directory name
6. From the actions menu, select "Import ..."
7. Go to the directory just created, click the RDF file
The result is that you get the reference, but the attached file has become a mere link.
This is a serious regression.
BTW: Why does zotero neither provide a bug tracker, nor an IRC channel where users can provide support to each other?! This really should be the minimum standard. Also, the fact that there is no forum category "Bug reports", but only "Troubleshooting", implies that there are no bugs and the problem is always on the user side.

(I'm interested in 2. here) We'd also likely be interested in a sample RDF.
bug reports can be filed in the respective categories of the forum.
That's helpful to get them to the right people: E.g. Aurimas and I have the "Translator" category subscribed, fcheslak the 'website" etc..
I don't think the forum categories are perfect in any way, but since users are, on average, relatively poorly equipped to distinguish between bugs and things they do wrong, a "bug report" category would probably be less helpful than the status quo.
bug tracker: there is a issue-tracker on github, but since Zotero is too small to have a triage team etc. filing bugs there is discouraged. And since somewhere between 1 in 2 and 2 in 3 bug reports aren't actually bugs, there would be a lot of time involved in re-directing users.
IRC channel - because someone would have to be on it - an IRC channel that doesn't work is more frustrating than one that doesn't exist. Also, since questions re-occur, a forum is much better in conserving volunteers time, since users can search it easily.
I start with zotero few days ago, so maybe I don't know all fonctions, but I have the same problem.
When I want import a collection containing subcollection with attached PDF files, tthis one are not attached to the references (all subcollections and references are well created).
I used Windows 7, Zotero standalone 3.0.7 and Chrome 19.0.1084.52.
Reproduce:
1. right-click on collection
2. click Export collection
3. choose Format : Zotero RDF
4. tick Notes
5. tick Files
6. choose directory name and save
7. actions menu, click import
8. select RDF file created
9. Zotero creat the collection with the subcollections and references but not attach the PDF files.
I tried another format : with BibTex the PDF files are imported but with this format the subcollections are not created.
Is there any option to change or something else to do.
Thanks
Where can I post the sample RDF ?
edit: that is - open the RDF with a text editor, select all-->copy
and paste it to the window on one of those sites.
With Zotero RDF : http://pastebin.com/aFWCdfhs
With BibTex : http://pastebin.com/fT755Fa0

The name of the RDF file will vary. "file" and numbered items are folder.
I use Windows 7 x86.

It seems frank and I were working on this at the same time.
