zotero crashes Firefox

Error code 1166962198: zotero does crash my Firefox ESR 10.0.4 (on OSX 10.6.8).
Only updated component was adobe flash plugin - afterwards the problem with zotero occured and makes work with firefox and zotero impossible (crashes all 5-10 minutes).

Do you mean "freezes"? At what point does this happen? Does it resolve itself, or do you force-quit Firefox?

I have to quit or restart Firefox. Firefox itself continues mostly to work but I can't close the zotero window or use it (error message appears there that I have to restart Firefox). Zotero freezes after 2 new entries into the library.
