automatically generated Tags - how to remove them?

Hello,

I don't want to work with the automatically generated tags and started to delete them manually because it is not possible to select and delete them all. But the main problem is that (after syncing!!) the tags that should be deleted are still in the online library. Is it possible to "clean" the tag list that is online? The point is: without good working and intelligent generated tags a group library is not useful at all!

Please give me some advice

    If you delete them from all items (via the tag selector in the bottom left) and sync, they should go away.

    There is no opinion how I could delete them from all items (or do you mean that I have to do this manually for every single tag?)

    To delete a tag from all items, right-click the tag and choose “Delete Tag…”.

    And yes, currently you have to delete each tag individually.

    I started deleting them manually (tag by tag), but the ones I have deleted in the library on my computer are still in the online library, even after syncing.

    Yes, it is the same library. Sorry, but I really don't know where I am making a fault... It is strange that the tag still appears online after deleting it

    Is this the ID that you mean? I deleted the Tag "Das Bundesverfassungsgericht", but it is still online

    Follow the instructions I linked to. All we need is the id, not the full output, and it needs to cover both deleting a tag and syncing.

    OK, that shows you deleting the "Das Diverse" tag in your personal library and then syncing. The tag "Das Diverse" is not in your personal library online. It is in your group library, but that's a separate library.

    So it looks to me like this is working fine. I suspect you're just looking in your group library on the website.

    okay, but what do I have to do now to delete the tag in the library on my computer and at the same time in the library that is online? Sorry, but I don't see the fault. I thought that the tag is deleted in every library just by deleting it in the library on my computer that is synced with the online-library?

    Have you deleted the tag in your group library on your computer?

    I've both deleted it in the group library and in the "private" library to look in which case the tag is deleted and it is not the case that the tag is deleted online anyway
