firefox crashing every time I attempt to do a citation

I have been experiencing Fireox crashing every time I am attempting to insert a citation or a bibliography into a word document. The most recent report ID for this problem is: 503086748.
I have Fifefox 12.0 and recently installed Zotero 3.0 both for Firefox and as a standalone. Thank you, Luisa.

    First, do you mean "crashing" or "freezing"?

    On the server your account shows repeated large downloads (with a last-sync date from 1.5 years ago) for your library. This shouldn't be related to citing, but it could result in (temporary) freezes as Zotero tried to process the downloaded data or crashes if it caused Firefox to exceed your computer's available memory. Does disabling auto-sync in the Sync pane of the Zotero preferences fix the problem?

    Thank you for your reply. I mean crashing for firefox, while word freezes. I have tried to disable auto-sync and it does not fix the problem. This is only been happening for a couple of days. Also, could it be that I have word 2008? Thank you again.

    When Firefox crashes, you should get an option to submit a crash report. Can you submit one (if you haven't already), go to the URL about:crashes in the Firefox address bar, click on the most recent crash, and post the URL here?

    You should start by updating to Mac OS X 10.6.8. 10.6.2 is outdated and insecure, and this issue may be fixed in newer versions.

    I have updated to Mac OS X 10.6.8 this morning and Zotero seems to be working again!!! Thank you very much for the suggestion!
