Problems with Creating a Bibliography

I am using a Mac running Lion. When I try to create a bibliography in MS Office I end up with the full reference being in both the text and the location for the bibliography. At the same time the font size and paragraph layout of the text gets changed.

Any suggestions please?

  • I don't understand your first issue. But:

  • for the first issue - I also don't fully understand, but we'd want an example and the citations style you're using.
  • Many thanks for the comments so far. To clarify (perhaps):

    When I put the first citation into the text of my document and then created the bibliography on a separate page I returned to the text to find that the full citation had been quoted in the document text (i.e. not just Author Surname, Year) and the font size of the document text had shrunk and there were all sorts of changes to the paragraph (indentation, line spacing etc).
