Inserting bibliography in openoffice--integration error/no response

I'm trying to insert a bibliography in OpenOffice, and if I do it right after I open Zotero, I get a very long and unintelligible integration error. Since I can't post a screenshot, here's a quote: "An error occurred communicating with Zotero: com.sun.star.lag.IllegalArgumentException: at comc.sun.star.bridges.jni_uno.JNI_proxy.dispatch_call(Native Method) at com.sun.star.bridges.jni_uno.NI_proxy.invoke(JNI_proxy.java:175..." You get the picture--there's 13 lines of this.

If I try to insert biblio any other time (after getting an error, for example) I don't get any response at all--button goes click, nothing happens.

Any ideas?

    First, if you can, try installing LibreOffice. It's two releases ahead of OpenOffice.org, because most of the developers jumped ship, and it might fix this issue.

    If you can't install LibreOffice, or if installing LibreOffice doesn't help, let us know if this happens in a new (empty) document, and post a screenshot of the error on an image hosting website such as imageshack.us or tinypic.com so that we can see the whole thing.
