All titles now lowercase after 3.0.6 upgrade

Hi,

I am using standalone Zotero on a Mac, and its a wonderful tool!
Zotero automatically upgraded to version 3.0.6 last week, and changed all my titles in the database to lower case, except for the first word. I am writing my thesis, due soon, and I am not relishing the thought of manually going through the hundreds of citations to make them match their correct published title.

Is there anything I can do to resolve automatically?

Thank you, Darin
  • Did the titles change to lower case within your Zotero library, or in your thesis word processor document? If the latter, which citation style are you using?

Just to be clear - those are not just citations that are generated, it's actually the titles as you see them in the center and right panel of Zotero?

edit: you should make a back-up copy of your entire data director right now:

If this is indeed caused by Zotero, there's a chance it'd be possible to restore your library with correct titles.
  • There's no way this happened in the database itself—at least not from Zotero itself.

I think Darin just means that the style now is using sentence case instead of title case.

If that's the case, Darin, what style are you using?
