HTML export

1st of all, this is a great tool-)

Nice thing to have:
In the export formats, have the HTML option (and an ziped HTML option also).
What it would do? It would export the library (or category) to an HTML page, with links to all the snapshots, notes, links, etc.., with a new folder option, that would copy everything into it, that would make it self contained.

Why? So I can take the library or part of it, into another browser somewhere else and have all the information there without needing zotero (i could even email part of the library to someone not using zotero and all the research results would be acessible)..

An PDF version would be nice also.

Cheers,
Nelson

Some of what you want is already by using "generate report." You'd currently have to supplement it by grabbing a copy of your storage directory & links aren't made.
An PDF version would be nice also.
Firefox doesn't have PDF features exposed yet:

  • The "generate report" almost gets it, but it doesn't preserve the sub-categorys, and the "links" to the local files (snapshots) would need rewrting (so they point to an specfic folder instead firefox directory)and transformed into links. keeping doc anotations would also be nice.

    Cheers,
