Anyone else here having a problem importing data from IMDB?

I'm trying to import some citations from IMDB and I get the error message. I saw from a previous message that Zotero 2.1.7 was supposed to work with Zotero but it's nt working for me. Anyone else have this problem? Even better, anyone have a solution?

    chrome 18.0.1025.163 (i'm guessing that's the latest chrome since it never asks me to update)

    nothing on our side - we're using IMDBs API, so that was probably down when you tried.

    I'm having the same problems. I get an error message every time I try to import something from IMDB with Firefox 11.0

    that sounds like the same API issue - also fails in our tests - if this hasn't cleared up in a day or two I'll take a closer look, but as things are now I'd just assume this will start working again soon.

    So this is the same API issue, but it looks like this is a pretty sticky problem atm. Even the site by the provider returns 503 at the moment

    Since getting the same type of data w/o the API will be somewhere between a lot of work and impossible I won't touch this atm and hope it gets fixed on their side.

    Just to clarify, this isn't IMDB's API. It's an unofficial one.
