Quick format citation dialogue
Hi Dan, thank you for your quick reply (can't quite comprehend how you keep track - there's sooo many threads...),
As a first time user of the forum this thread seems to approach my problem best...
I am using Windows 7 Home Premium 32bit, Word 2010 and Zotero 3.0.3 (FF 11.0 - portable).
I was using ZOtero and inserting citations without any problems. After switching to FF-portable the "Quick Format Citation" dialogue does not appear. Or at least: after selecting a style, a large "Quick Format Citation" window does pop up, but it's empty. I already tried manually re-installing the word-processor-plug-in (there was no trace of the plug-in bar in Word anymore before the reinstall), but no success.
For my new job (PhD research) I'd much rather stick with Zotero than having to go back to EndNote. I hope someone can help me out with this.
Kind regards,
Marija

I even removed my FF on my laptop (C-drive) after back-ups and the works, but that was not the problem either.

Thank you for your time,

Now when I click the arrow I get to choose the classic view. Once selected, it seems to work fine. I do have to re-select it with every reference I make. Is there any way to make the classic view standard?
I also tried disabling Adblock and updated Java and flash but that did not make a difference.
Quite strange - there must be others using FF-port and zotero without this curious side-effect. I hope you can figure it out - I understand the classic view will be left out in newer versions of zotero?
@Dan: ....as I was typing 'no it still does not work' I wanted to make a screenshot to show it. As it turns out, now I cán type in the window. I don't know why, I did not change anything since the last try (other than x-times restarting FF)
Thank you both for your time - happy to be able to continue with Zotero (and now off I go getting/creating a citation style that pleases Dutch researchers and publishers...)
