Error when try to open stored PDFs

Am not able to open PDFs - just get a blank tab with zotero://attachment/399/ or zotero://attachment/406/

Any help appreciated - am in end of semester crunch!

    Can you open other PDFs in Firefox? Try this one. If you can't, this is a Firefox issue, not a Zotero issue.

    You might also try right/control-clicking the PDF and selecting "Open in External Viewer."

    OK, the right clicking worked, thank you so much. Any thoughts on what's happening with Firefox? At any rate, I at least have a work around now. Thank you!

    I had to go into my Firefox preferences/Applications and change the Action to "Use Adobe Reader" for opening Adobe PDF documents. Somehow this preference had been changed to "Use Adobe Acrobat NPAPI Plug-in"
