Capital Letters

Zotero transforms every first letter of a word in a capital letter. If this seems to be common in English, it isn't the way you reference in German or in French. Is it possible to turn this function off.

    I am guessing that you are talking about bibliographies you have generated and not your Zotero library itself. Zotero should generally be storing things in whatever format they were in wherever you grabbed them from. If you are having trouble with how references are stored in your library you might want to grab them from a catalog that uses your capitalization or you can use Zotero's transform text ability (right click on a title field and you should be able to recase it) to get them looking the way you like.

    Now, more likely you are asking about casing in bibliographies. Many reference styles have explicit instructions about casing titles. It may be that you want to use a variant of one of these styles, in which case you would need to customize the style to suit your needs.
